Job Description

Our Felixstowe based client are looking to recruit a European Freight Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing UK Import & export collections & deliveries for Europe
Managing key accounts & client spot business
Onboarding and building relationships with new suppliers
Coordinating with the customs team
Liaising with EU consignees & EU customs
Pricing and negotiating freight rates
Ensuring collection and delivery KPIs are met
Preparing documentation for shipments in a timely manner
Generating reports on export and customs activities
Meeting customer expectations to provide excellent service
Identifying opportunities to upsell additional services to existing clients
Assisting in achieving other business objectives as needed
Lead Export team

Experience:

Proven experience in a fast-paced environment
Background in logistics or transport roles
Positive attitude with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office
Strong teamwork and communication skills
