Job Description

Join our clients Customs team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods into and out of the UK. You will prepare and process import and export customs declarations, liaise with customers and authorities, and ensure compliance with current customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit import/export customs declarations.
Review commercial invoices, packing lists, and supporting documents.
Liaise with customers, customs authorities, and internal teams.
Advise on customs procedures, classifications, and documentation requirements.
Prepare customs documentation including T-documents, Certificates of Origin, EUR1s, CHEDs, and COIs.
Ensure compliance with UK customs regulations and maintain data accuracy.
Deliver high levels of customer service while meeting deadlines.

Ideal Candidate:
Previous customs, freight forwarding, or logistics experience.
Knowledge of UK import and export procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Experience using customs software systems is advantageous.
