Job Description

Our well established logistics client is looking for an Ocean Coordinator to join their Ocean Product Head for UK & Ireland. The ideal candidate will have shipping industry experience preferred, knowledge of LCL and FCL, pricing advantageous. Understanding of key trade lanes an advantage but not essential.

The role
> Maintain pricing database
> Support with pricing inquiries for FCL and LCL from all offices
> Procure monthly rate sheets for import and exports
> Checking and maintain rate management tool
> Negotiate space and allocation with carriers
> Manage weekly space allocation internally
> Solve queries raised and support operations
> Distribute pricing updates and market intel to the UK network
> Support pricing strategy set by Ocean Product Team
> Publish own consol box schedules and service guide
> Assist Ocean Product Manager with regular internal/external reporting
> Build/Grow relationships with SEKO network to enhance the confidence in the UK Ocean Product
> Escalating issues to the shipping line

> Excellent Excel skills
> Experience in Power BI (not essential)
> Highly organised
> Good problem solving skills
