Job Description

Plan and schedule daily transport operations to maximise vehicle utilisation
Allocate work to drivers and subcontractors
Monitor vehicle movements and respond to delays or operational issues
Liaise with customers regarding deliveries, collections, and service updates
Ensure compliance with driver hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures
Maintain accurate transport records and data within the transport
management system
Process delivery paperwork and PODs
Coordinate container deliveries and collections from UK ports
Support the transport manager with operational reporting and KPI monitoring
Ensure all transport activities comply with health and safety requirements

Skills required
Previous experience routing/planning container transport
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Salary £45,000 + car
