Night Transport Operator
If you have experience within the container transport industry this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to join a market leader as a Night Transport Operator at their Felixstowe depot. Working Monday to Friday (11 hour shifts) Starting time would be 1700/1800/1900 hours dependent upon shift pattern

Duties & Responsibilities:
Dealing with multiple drivers
Communicating with ports
Booking delivery slots for entry in ports
Using a Transport system called TOPS for putting down drivers start times and finish times
Chasing drivers for etas and making sure they are on time
Rerouting jobs as and when is needed
Checking all PODS are matched up with all the correct jobs on the system
Speaking to customers on possible delays advising et
 

Skills required
Previous experience as a Transport Operator – Essential
Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal
Excellent UK geographical knowledge
Can work on own initiative
Quick and efficient problem solving skills
Organised at all times
Flexibility to meet the demands of the business

Benefits
Salary up to £40,000
