The team at A&S Recruitment were delighted to attend the careers fair organised by the Job Centre and Felixstowe Chamber of Commerce in attendance was the Mayor of Felixstowe, Seamus Bennett along with 40 local businesses that were exhibiting. There was a good influx of the local residents looking at all the amazing opportunities for employment in and around Felixstowe and we met some great candidates that registered with us on the day.
Although the job market has been tough across the whole of the UK, Felixstowe is a great place to live and work with lots of opportunities in a variety of sectors, however it will always remain a central hub for the Shipping and Logistics which is a thriving sector with amazing opportunities.
With the future face of logistics evolving this will open new opportunities with regards to technology and the new skills required.
