Depot/Site Manager

Company Overview:
Our client, established in the early ’80s and situated in the vicinity of Felixstowe, operates a robust fleet of five delivery vehicles. The company boasts a comprehensive inventory of landscape materials and garden decor. Renowned for dealing with some of the nation’s top-tier brands such as Stonemarket, Supreme, and Cemex, they also engage in the importation of products from India and China.

Role Objective
We are on the lookout for a seasoned Depot/Site Manager to join our dynamic team.

Ideal Candidate:
The aspirant should possess a solid background in landscape or building supplies management.

Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee a dedicated team comprising 9 drivers, yard, and office personnel.
– Drive sales initiatives and customer engagement.
– Efficiently organize the yard to streamline product accessibility.
– Ensure regular maintenance and operational readiness of site machinery and vehicles.
– Monitor and manage drivers’ schedules and compliance with driving regulations.
– Spearhead the setup and presentation of the showroom area.

Remuneration:
An attractive salary of circa £35,000, complemented by opportunities for overtime.
