Job Description

Administration Assistant – Fleet Operations

Our client is looking for a proactive and organised Administration Assistant to join their Fleet Office within a busy motor transport company.
This role is vital in supporting day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient communication, accurate administration, and smooth coordination across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support to the Fleet Office
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries in a professional manner
• Work closely with the Insurance Department to assist with incident and accident reporting and administration
• Maintain vehicle records, compliance documentation, and other administrative tasks
• Support the scheduling of deliveries, collections, and vehicle maintenance
• Accurately input and update data across internal systems
• Liaise effectively with drivers and operations staff to ensure clear and timely communication

Requirements:
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Willingness to listen, learn, and complete tasks following training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where no two days are the same
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Previous administrative and/or insurance experience is preferred but not essential
